The TentBox Cargo is a rugged, adventure-ready camping machine, built for hardcore adventure.
It’s constructed entirely from premium-grade aluminium, which makes it super strong, and look super sleek.
The gas-assisted opening mechanism means the Cargo can be set-up in under a minute, which is an absolute life saver in the rain. Just pop it, climb in, and you’re done!
The aluminium accessory rails running round the entire TentBox allows you to easily attach accessories to customise your set-up, such as our Cargo Roof Bars which allow you to carry gear on top.
The new design features a deeper base, with inbuilt air vents. The depth means you can store your bedding and pillows inside (so you’re ready to go as soon as you pop it), and the vents allow for excellent ventilation and condensation control.

30-second opening time
Courtesy of the external gas struts
Unbuckle the 2 latches, and push. The gas struts (made from marine grade stainless steel), will do the rest of the work for you. The TentBox Cargo has the fastest opening and closing time.
Fits most vehicles
The TentBox Cargo will fit on almost any vehicle. Our learn page has lots of great information, and so do our product specialists if you want more direct help.
You can install a TentBox Cargo to your roof bars in 30 minutes. Watch our installation video at the top of this page.
Designed for comfort
The fitted foam mattress, is super comfortable. We also have an additional memory foam mattress topper if you’re looking for that 5* camping experience!
In addition, the top shell is lined with fabric, which provides insulation and a cosier feel.
Leave your bedding inside
As soon as you pop it, you’re ready to camp!
The TentBox Cargo was redesigned for 2022, so it now has a deeper base. This means you can store the ladder and bedding inside!

The TentBox Cargo (as the name suggests), has the unique feature of being able to add roof bars on top.
Accessory rails - customise it your way!
There are t-channel accessory rails all the way around the top and bottom shell.
This means you can add accessories, such as the TentBox side awning, or roof bars. You can also get creative, with things like light bars or solar panels!
Ventilation system
The TentBox Cargo has unique, built in floor vents (patent pending), with a cut-out mattress that allows air to flow up through the vents, releasing moisture.
It also features two vents in the fabric to allow condensation produced when sleeping to escape.
Premium buckle system
Our soft-close buckle design makes it easy to open and close the Cargo, whilst ensuring it stays securely shut when closed.
Plenty of storage
There is a storage net on the roof, and small side pockets for keys etc.
High quality fly netting
We use premium fly mesh on all windows and doors, to ensure that your sleeping space will remain insect free.
That’s what we call glamping!
You can also store your sleeping bags and pillows inside when closed.
In addition, our unique spring-loaded ladder brackets are easy to use, and they ensure that the ladder is attached safely at all times.
