Awnings, like other areas of camping equipment have undergone substantial product developement in the past few years. The most obvious advance is the emergence of AirBeam Awnings ( also known as AirAway Awnings or AirBeam Awnings ). These awnings do not require conventional hard poles, but use beams made of fabric, with air pumped into them to make them rigid.
Van Awnings by definition have a very tricky task to perform, due to the sheer variation of van styles, heights and door positions that the van awning design must take into account.
